Nikevia (ni-KEE-vee-AY) is on a mission to live a healthier life. In 2006 she became a vegetarian. Four years later, transitioning into an entirely plant-based lifestyle. She did this with the help of thousands of hours of watching Food Network.
In 2014 she was challenged to create vegan pupusas with an alkaline diet, and from there the idea of Simple Vegan was planted. It has grown into a local food company that provides plant-based food experiences to new vegans, transitional vegans and the vegan-curious. She’s always up for the challenge to transform simple, wholesome ingredients into culinary, flavorful works of art.
In May 2018, she received an MBA from Trinity Washington University
